my Career Roadmap
Seattle, WA
The Tip of the Iceberg
Over the past 7+ years, I’ve worked across Transportation & Logistics, IT, Commercial Aviation, and Customer Service - industries that have helped me build not just technical skills, but also leadership and critical thinking. It’s never been about how many job titles I’ve had (there have been quite a few to be honest), but about the depth and quality of experience each role brought.
Professionally, my experience has been rooted in three core areas: Data Analytics, Supply Chain, and Program & Product Management. Academically, I hold a dual bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Political Science from the University of South Florida (2018) and a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas at Dallas (2020).
Currently, I work in Big Tech, leading projects focused on developing performance metrics for the manufacturing of Cloud Data Center hardware. No matter the role or industry, my core focus remains the same: to be customer-focused, high-performing, and intellectually nimble in everything I do. Each experience along the way has shaped how I operate, both in terms of skill and mindset. I hold a high bar for the work I do, whether it’s a presentation, a meeting, a deliverable, or simply how I show up for the team.
The roadmap below highlights the major milestones of my career since arriving in the U.S. at 17.
Behind The Scenes
Seeing the end results can be satisfying and even inspiring. But what we usually don’t see is everything it took to get there: the rejection, the resilience, and the reality behind the scenes.
We often only see the outcomes: the job titles, the promotions, the shiny logos. Rarely do we ask how someone got there or what they had to overcome. So here’s a look behind the curtain - a few of the lesser-known parts of my journey. Because success isn’t linear. It’s earned.
16 job titles over the past 10 years: each one a stepping stone, a lesson, and a chance to get sharper.
Leadership at 21: I was tasked to lead a team of 25+ people before I could legally rent a car.
Landing a job at Amazon: submitted 117 applications over 3 years, reached 3 final rounds before finally getting the offer.
Education grind: completed a 6-year undergrad program in 4 years, and a 2-year master’s program in just 1 year.
Southwest Airlines internship: applied to 30 internships over 2 years, interviewed 5 times before hearing “yes.”
TMC Transportation internship: cold-called the recruiter and pitched myself directly.
FedEx internship: commuted 160 miles (260 km) daily from Tampa to Orlando for 12 weeks, working 9-hour shifts entirely on foot.
None of these are complaints or bragging points. These are the parts of the journey that shaped my personality. Every obstacle taught me something. Every “no” brought me closer to a “yes.” And every mile, phone call, and late night made the wins mean more and feel better.
If my story can inspire someone to keep going, especially when the winds are blowing in the opposite way, then it’s all worth it. And when you think you can’t do something, remember this quote:
“Borders? I have never seen one. But I have heard they exist in the minds of some people.”
